New serger!

I was incredibly excited and nervous about my new serger. I ordered it from amazon and then left it in the box for a few extra days, read and watched the instructions, then decided to dive in. I made a set of baby wipes tonight for a friend using really nice organic cotton flannel I bought from Vegala.etsy.com . I made them 8x8 and used a 3 thread overlock and rounded the corners. It was nice to practice on something relatively easy!

Ha! I ordered this same serger several months ago and only a few weeks ago got brave enough to take it for a test drive. Not so scary after all! Can't wait to have a chance to try out all the bells and whistles.
I've been looking at this Serger & a Singer model...what do you think of it??? Is it easy to set-up & use?

I've inherited my grandma's old babylock. So far I haven't found the patience to try to sew much with it. Yours looks fantastic!
