happenings

after a quick trip to the er last night, here’s the damage:

lesson learned:  don’t let your kids lean over the bathtub after they’ve taken a bath, may result in falling headfirst into the tub and 4 stitches

On the upside, Natalie was a real trooper.  In fact, when all was said and done, the er staff said she was their favorite patient all night and gave her this:

holy cow! a quilt donated from Project Linus.  I guess I’ll be returning the favor and making a few blankies!

For more info on Project Linus and how you can donate visit projectlinus.org.

  1. Oh the poor little thing. They always weather these adventures far easier than we moms do, no? The quilt is so sweet and the idea of paying it forward is wonderful. She can help! How great is that? ~Kelly

Poor little girl – so glad she’s all fixed up! I have a scar exactly where she does (but on the opposite side of my face) from a fall into the corner of the coffee table… same age! Tell her she’s in good company!

I’d love to do some linus quilts… I need to find more information on it around here. 🙂

Ouchies! I’m glad she’s doing okay! I’ve made quilts for the Linus Project in the past, my high school had a community service graduation requirement of 100 hours, and I did a lot of them making quilts- great way to use my passion for fabric for good!
