Here I am! Hi there.
I got my hair chopped off this past weekend (when I say chopped I mean about 10"). What a relief. Like Dana said, I feel like a new person. Or at least a less tangly snarly greasy one.
This is actually my second time donating my hair to Locks of Love. I figure I might as well, why not? Seems like a waste to do it any other way.
It was windy. Oh yeah, did I ever tell you I used to be completely blonde, no joke, right mom?!

Cute! Don't you feel free? I love having short hair. How much did you have cut off?
ReplyDeleteI love it! So fun and summery! :o)
ReplyDeleteShort hair rocks!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! I am so bored with my hair right now...but I'm fighting the urge to chop it cause I never look good with short hair. Yours looks fab short!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos - you look fabulous! (What a great cause to donate to....)
ReplyDeleteLoving the choppy layers! Wish my hair would allow this kind of cut!

LOVE IT! You look great!!!
ReplyDeleteI just love this! It looks wonderful! I recently grew out my hair (I'm talking down just past my shoulders, having always been a pixie-type girl). It was the longest it had been since second grade. After Hannah was born, I was like "this is crazy!" and chopped it all back off pixie like again. Didn't regret it once! You rock your shorter hair and with summer coming, it'll be a wonderful feeling to feel the breeze on the back of your next again!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't it feel good to donate!? I've donated twice and am now trying to decide if I stick with the short do for a while or just go right back into growing it out for another donation. ~Sara
ReplyDeletethis looks great!!! my daughter wants to grown out her hair and donate it.
ReplyDeleteoh how lovely! Suits you well Anna!
ReplyDeletethere are a few heads of hair here that could do with a good trim.
How fun! It gives you a whole new feeling when the wind blows through your hair. I soo need to do the same. But this rubber band I ware is my crutch.
ReplyDeleteI love it! Your natural color is pretty too.
ReplyDeleteGreat hair cut! Makes you look young, wild and free. =)
ReplyDeleteLove it! Looks fab!
ReplyDeleteLove the new 'do! I've got an appointment in a couple weeks to go super short, too. Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteLove it!!! I bet your head feels a lot lighter now. Mine always feels lighter when I cut it off!
ReplyDeleteoh yay! A picture of you!
ReplyDeleteYou are darling Anna. And the new do is fabulous.
Love those "wind pictures". Makes your hair look like a magazine spread!
I'm so glad you shared :)
Short hair is so much fun and I find its easier to have in the life of a busy mum - in my case 5 children. Love it!!
ReplyDeleteYou are as cute as can be! I love your hair, it's beautiful and the wind makes it look even better. I remember when I got all mine cut off, it took forever to get out of the habit of shaking my head to flip the hair over my shoulder. Now I keep it about as short as can be, pixie-cut, and it's so easy and it suits my little face. I tried to grow it out over the winter then decided I was being stupid because I knew it would bug me to have too much hair again.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your change, it really looks good on you!
It looks great! I know the feeling of relief! It was so nice to hack mine off in January. :)
