I just think it's pretty darn cute! I did mess up on the gusset part by not reading the pattern piece (you're supposed to add an extra few inches for wiggle room) and so it made the whole lunch bag a little shorter than it's supposed to be. It still works well and I hope it'll last a long time. Another cute little feature is the little side pockets on each side.
pink elephant fabric was purchased at Crafty Planet and the oilcloth from fabric.com

I love it! Its way cute!
ReplyDeleteis wonderful! like all your work, as always it's all explained very well, I love your blog!

Love it! I've been eyeing that pattern for a while but we don't have a need for lunch boxes just yet. I think I like your shorty version better.
ReplyDeleteIt's very cute. Is it easy to wash out though? My son has a Landsend one and it is so hard to really get clean. Can you throw this in the machine? I have to think of something better for next year.
ReplyDeleteYou are so talented. thank you for sharing this idea and the fabric sources too! Some of us dont know where to begin to find such cuteness! Ive had my purses and zippy wallets cut out and ready to sew. Its on my list for today.... again!
ReplyDeletethis is so cute!!! i love that fabric....so adorable. i want one!!!
ReplyDeleteADORABLE! I love that fabric!! :o)
ReplyDeleteThere isn't much better than pink elephants. I'm sure your little one will LOVE to bring that wherever she goes.

ReplyDeleteI love the lunch bag Anna! Heck, I might even take my lunch to work in one of those bags. I'm going to check out the Etsy shop for the pattern. Thanks!
ReplyDeletelove it! Looks like it would have been tricky to sew though? You did an awesome job.
ReplyDeleteWould you think me awful if I made one for myself instead of for my kids... because IT... IS... SO... CUTE. And to answer your question: What's better than glittery pink elephants? A glittery pink elephant bag.
ReplyDeleteOMG too cute....my daughter will definatly need one of those. Thanks for the link to the pattern, I'm gonna go buy one of my own!!
ReplyDeleteThis is way cute! I like the pattern - it'd make a good scripture case for the girls (when they're responsible enough to carry that to church) :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I LOVE your new haircut - perfect for summer and it's just so cute on you! Beautiful!
i LOVE the fabric! too cute. nice job!
ReplyDeleteIt is just too cute! I love it!
ReplyDeleteThats a gorgeous little lunchbag. I hate the poor choice of lunch boxes/bags that are available at the mo' but that is really cute and would make a nice change from insulated Disney princesses!!!
ReplyDeleteit is very cute. the lunch bag that i made for my son just got sidelined for a commercially bought nickelodeon bag that grandma bought him :(
ReplyDeleteI LOVE IT!!!!! Super cute. How can she not like the gingham???? It's adorable.
ReplyDeleteThat is ADORABLE. :D
ReplyDeleteI personally love the green checks. Great job!
Just adorable! LOVE the fabric! I've seen these bags and been thinking I'll just have to make some for my girls. :)
ReplyDeleteYep. VERY CUTE! Nothing is cuter than the glittery pink elephant.
ReplyDeleteNothing is cuter!! that looks so fun! I think I have about all her patterns and I need to get to making those lunch bags. I bought cute oilskin tableclothes on sale and they should work great.
ReplyDeleteYou did an awesome job!
funny that she cares about the lining!
ReplyDeleteIt's adorable. I've been meaning to make lucy a lunch sack-ish thing. This is much cooler than what I had in mind though!
