Headbands!
Now, she usually doesn't like anything in her hair, but with summer coming up this will do the trick. I loved the way they turned out and that they're reversible. Can't beat that. I did try a couple different widths to see what would stay in better and I'd say the thinnest version stays put longer. I'll be making some for myself of course.

Very pretty. I like that they are reversible too! I will definitely check out that tutorial. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteLovely hair bands. Wish I still had little daughters I could make them for; probably have to wait till I'm a grandma ;).
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I also like Heather Bailey's headband tutorial...easy-peasy, and so much fun!

ReplyDeletesew, sew cute Anna! I think I need to make these too, to match the clutches that I haven't made yet :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome! And a great way to use up scraps. I'll be trying this. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteooo like these.. very simple very smart. I've been looking for a design that would be good for school for my daughter. I've got some old winter uniform kilts to recycle in green/blue tartan - this pattern might just be the answer.
ReplyDeleteI've been making these for my daughter, too. I don't get it ... why are headbands the only thing she'll let stay in her hair?
