I love the simplicity of the bag, but yet it's so stylish. I ended up reducing the size of the pattern down to 80% because I didn't want it to be so big that I couldn't find whatever I needed in a hurry.
I also added a magnetic snap and used canvas for interfacing to make it a little more substantial.
Now that I've been using it for a bit, I really love it. No more dives to the bottom of the bag to find stale cheerios or crumpled up receipts from four months ago! I definitely think I'm going to try the full size pattern and have that handy for trips to the pool this summer.

I love this bag! I've made four myself! It is so simple. All four were either made out of upholstry or tapestry fabric. I didn't do a magnetic clasp though, that's a great idea!

oh, that turned out so nice! I've made about 8 of these bags for me and friends! great for carrying around knitting! and I've got a couple requests!

I love it! What fabric did you use? I've seen this bag before, but yours is the first I've seen that I really LOVE. Fabric choice makes such a huge difference!
I love this bag Anna! Looks like the perfect size to me - Purses that are too big drive me crazy! And you are right, I bet the full size one would be just perfect as a pool bag.
