oh boy

My cousin and his wife recently had a baby boy, so to celebrate (and to have an excuse to make cute baby clothes) I made a little outfit.

I used the kimono pj pants pattern from Amy Butler's Little Stitches for Little Ones book.  They're so cute and little!

A little bit of twill tape folded over make a soft tag to note which side is the back.  The fabric is by Alexander Henry, Truck Stop in Pool, purchased from Hawthorne Threads here.

And if they want to put him in a matching outfit, I embellished a little onesie.  I think it's especially fun because Baby Cal's grandpa is a farmer, so why not sport a tractor on your shirt!  The colors in the fabric are great, I think it'll coordinate nicely with a lot of other cute clothes.

{As a final note, I just want to add that my Uncle, Baby Cal's grandpa is battling cancer as we speak, and any good thoughts or prayers sent his way would be much appreciated.}
