Love it! I am thinking Christmas Gifts. What is the skill level – so compared to the Noodlehead Clutch?

  15. Anna says:

Hey shelley~ I think the bag is much easier than the clutch, especially if you don’t care to add the zip pocket (even though it’s really fun to do). Hope that helps you out, and yes, I totally think they’d be awesome Christmas presents!

  16. I just purchased it!!! 🙂 Quick question… What would you say the skill level is for making this bag?? I’m a VERY NEW sewer… Haven’t really sewed anything yet– not in the past 10 years anyways!! lol I’m honestly just so overwhelmed and have no idea where to start! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!! 🙂 Thanks!

  17. By the way, you can email me if that’s easier for you…

Thank you so much for this pattern. I’ve made a a bag for myself following your directions. I like it so much. I saw you have a flickr group for things created by your tutorials / patterns but since I don’t have a flickr-account yet I can’t share my photos there.

Just finished my bag- LOVE IT, thank you so much for your inspiration! I think it helps that for once I finally got the fabric choices right and they look good together. 🙂 I even did BOTH pockets. I tend to shy away from zippers, but you made this one easy. Thank you.

  28. Unknown says:

how do i get to the pdf file?

    1. Anna says:

you’ll have to click the ‘add to cart’ button and purchase the file, it’s an instant download after purchase. 🙂

  29. Suggestion of fabric ? Did you use a cotton calico, or damask?

    1. Anna says:

I’d recommend a home dec weight fabric. Quilting cottons work really well too. 🙂

  30. Jenelle says:

Hi Anna! I wanted to share with you some pics of my finished Runaround bag. I really love my bag (I’m going to wear this one out!), plus the pattern was easy to follow and fun to sew. 🙂

  31. Are you able to print the pattern on an 8 1/2 X 11 printer?

  32. I have never printed a pattern before, will any sort of printer/paper do?!?

    1. Anna says:

yes, just any regular printing paper will do. 🙂

  33. Do you any runaround bags to sell? I can’t sew.

    1. Anna says:

I’m sorry I don’t! You could look on etsy, my patterns come with the rights to sell, so some people might be selling finished bags on etsy. 🙂

  34. Anonymous says:

How would you rate the ease of sewing this bag for a beginner? I just made a rag quilt so I should be ready to conquer this – but feel intimidated by it for some silly reason. Thanks for your input.

    1. Mary Milligan says:

I love that bag where can I get that pattern. For myself and my daughter.

  35. Summer says:

I have made two of these. They were super easy to make and both turned out really nicely! I used home decorator fabric remnants for the bag’s outside. I made one without and one with an inside pocket. This is a great pattern, and I just wanted to tell you so!
