ReplyDeletelove this design, especially in the yellow Heather Ross fabric.
ReplyDeleteLove it! I am thinking Christmas Gifts. What is the skill level - so compared to the Noodlehead Clutch?
ReplyDeleteHey shelley~ I think the bag is much easier than the clutch, especially if you don't care to add the zip pocket (even though it's really fun to do). Hope that helps you out, and yes, I totally think they'd be awesome Christmas presents!
ReplyDeleteI just purchased it!!! :) Quick question... What would you say the skill level is for making this bag?? I'm a VERY NEW sewer... Haven't really sewed anything yet-- not in the past 10 years anyways!! lol I'm honestly just so overwhelmed and have no idea where to start! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!! :) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, you can email me if that's easier for you...

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this pattern. I've made a a bag for myself following your directions. I like it so much. I saw you have a flickr group for things created by your tutorials / patterns but since I don't have a flickr-account yet I can't share my photos there.

ReplyDeleteVery nice bags!
ReplyDeleteJust finished my bag- LOVE IT, thank you so much for your inspiration! I think it helps that for once I finally got the fabric choices right and they look good together. :) I even did BOTH pockets. I tend to shy away from zippers, but you made this one easy. Thank you.

DeleteSuggestion of fabric ? Did you use a cotton calico, or damask?
ReplyDeleteI'd recommend a home dec weight fabric. Quilting cottons work really well too. :)
