This looks amazing. And to be able to use some items that have sometimes decades of history (I have hankies that used to belonged to my great great grandmother) sounds like a great idea!! Congrats!
Oh, wow! I've never seen a red hankie like that before. Pretty pillows and what a great photo set up with that knock out chair. Lovely! And congrats on the guest post.
Oh, these are so pretty!!! I linked to your tutorial at Craft Gossip Sewing: http://sewing.craftgossip.com/tutorial-vintage-hankie-pillow-cover/2011/01/24/
Just saw these over at Elsie Marie...am in love. You make the best pillows! I now need to start scouring the market for vintage hankies, these are just gorgeous.
Your pillows are lovely! I have a ton (really, not that many, but a lot) of hankies from my Grandmother. What a nice way to display them, instead of in a dresser drawer. Thanks so much for sharing the idea!
oh sorry! Here's the tutorial: http://www.noodle-head.com/2011/02/vintage-hankie-pillow-cover-tutorial.html I'll fix the link on the tutorials page too. :)
