As with many little girls her age Natalie is all about the princess stuff. While I'm not a huge fan of all things princess, I do know she and her friends have fun with it. I just think so much is over marketed for their age group, so basically if you make a product (even a crappy one) stick a princess label on it, and my daughter will beg for me to buy it. Ummm, no thanks! So I made a few party favors that will give her enough princesses to make her happy.
I got the idea from Chez Beeper Bebe a looong time ago, she made a lovely tutorial on how to make your own coloring book. It's really awesome because she also gives you a ton of links to find all sorts of coloring pages. The girls have loved them all week, and my printer is probably almost out of ink, but it's so fun!
I made these super-mini coloring books, to fit in the treat bags. Just stitch up the binding and you've got yourself a cute little book.
Here's the rest of the party decor, keeping in the pink and yellow theme: Pink plates and napkins, cute yellow polka dotted cups which I'll be using for cut-up fruit, and the coolest straws ever.
