summertime lemon slices

This Ringo Pie patchwork bee block is brought to you by:
summertime

I love Merit’s choice for her month, summertime, and the lovely blocks from this theme are amazing!

I used my much horded grid print by Cosmo Cricket as the background and I tried to incorporate appropriate prints for the lemon segments.  It was a pretty challenging block for me, but I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out.
If you want to see the other blocks I’ve made in the past for Ringo Pie, they’re here, hereherehere, here, here.  Whew.
And just for any gardening buffs out there, here are a few shots from around my yard, luckily these plants are pretty self sufficient!

Any chance that you can show a picture of the back? I’m new to quilting and I’m curious about how the seams line up on the back.
