my go anywhere bag

Noodlehead my go anywhere bag uncategorized

Hopefully you’re not too sick of seeing my bags.  Noodlehead my go anywhere bag uncategorized  This is my Go Anywhere Bag that I’m keeping. All I can say is that I was more than happy to transfer my belongings into it as soon as I finished sewing it up.  And you might wonder if I keep all these bag for myself.  I don’t.  I didn’t even keep a 241 tote, one went to my friend Rossie, the other to my mom (whom I’ve finally decided, has enough bags).  I like sharing what I make with people I care about though, so it’s always a good feeling to be able to hand something I’ve made over to a friend.

[lined with linen and handmade linen piping on each pocket]

I had hoarded this echino camera print for too long waiting for just the right project.  I really love using this bag, my favorite part has to be the divided front pocket, I haven’t yet lost my phone or sunglasses or keys in it yet.

Um, well, I guess I should say that I did ‘lose’ them in the back pocket for a while, but then I figured it all out.  I had a bit of a panic attack at the post office thinking I had lost the mailbox keys.  Whew.

Anyway, hope you all have a great weekend! We’re off to Minneapolis to celebrate my nephew Grant’s first birthday.

It looks great in that print! I also have not lost my keys or phone yet. :) (Unless you count yesterday am when I was trying to lock the door to take Addy to school, and realized my keys were in the basement where she had been playing with them. Not the fault of my bag, though!)

Lol, that’s why I follow you – for the bag photo procession! It gives me great ideas for presents as what female doesn’t need another bag? With the mailbox keys maybe you should incorporate a little d-ring on the inside side seam and attach them with a little clip. Hidden but handy :).
    Cheers,
    Robyn

A very worthy cut into that iconic fabric. Looks great on you! I just bought some cool black/white fabric from the Miscellany collection. Black in white is really calling me right now.

Love the bag!! Love the fabric, still trying to find some of the same for myself…only seem to be able to locate it in purple or teal… I’ve cut one of these out for my daughter for her diaper bag for the twins. She loved the size and the pockets when I showed her your samples here!
