It's true, I really love my pattern testers. I love that with each new set of eyes something different and lovely is created, mistakes are caught, and new ideas are brought forward. I wanted to share today a little round up of a few of my friends who I begged to test my pattern, I always feel a little guilty asking anyone for help, but I'm so glad I did. They did amazing and I love how each put their personality to their version of my newest pattern, the
Go Anywhere Bag.
Gail of
Probably Actually (read her post about it
here) I'm always inspired when I see the beautiful pictures of the things she makes.
Leila of
Where the Orchids Grow who amazes me with her patchwork and love of Japanese prints.
Jeannie (who is so speedy she made 2 amazing versions! beautiful job Jeannie.)
Nikki of
The Girl Who Quilts (amazing girl who sews up amazing things!) read about her bag
here, love the
Lizzy House 1001 Peeps!

Carolyn of
Fake it While You Make It (she seriously knows how to whip out some amazing garments) read about
her bag here.
And last, but definitely not least, Lindsey of
LR Stitched (couldn't stop seeing what she came up with once I saw
her 241 Tote) read more in
her post here, absolutely loved how she listed out all the things she could fit in it!
Isn't it fun to see the same bag in all sorts of fabrics?! That's why I love sewing, all the potential to make something uniquely you. Thanks you guys!
And I just have one more post about my new pattern, I did actually make one to keep for myself!!! I had been hoarding a certain fabric for too long - time to put it to use. So stay tuned....
fun! I love pattern testing for peoples. I get a new pattern to try and I guess they get pictures of my take on their pattern!

ReplyDeleteI'm in love with this bag! I must have one!! It's my favorite of the ones you've done, although they are all wonderful. Like the name you decided on, perfect! :)

Can I be on the tester waiting list?? Love the new shape and have some fabric ideas! Awesome job, ladies!!!
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing all of these versions Anna. I'd seen Lindsey's a while back and love it. Her 241 version is still my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the eye candy and great pattern!
adorable! great pattern anna. Hope you sell lots! I still have to make my 241 bag :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I love them all!!!
ReplyDeletethey are all so awesome...time to buy the pattern :)

Envy!! The bags are all amazing, love 'em! So many pretty combinations!
ReplyDeleteI just popped over from Leila's (where the orchids grow)--what a fabulous array of completed bags! I think I need to see what the fuss is about--you'll find me at Paypal!
ReplyDeleteWow, it's so funny how different fabric pics will change the entire look of the bag! These are all so cool!
ReplyDeletei think i like the top bag best. did you make that one? i'm terrible about keeping a purse on one shoulder though. i always put my head through and the strap on the other shoulder. i think that would ruin the look of your bag patterns. actually, it usually ruins the look of my outfit--if i actually attempt a "look". which bag would you recommend for a person that looks frumpy in every outfit and purse? that's the one that i need.
ReplyDeleteGORGIOUS!! So, how does one become your pattern tester? Does one beg, cry, bribe (lots of Dutch goodies could, in theorty of course, be coming your way, hehe), beg some more? ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnyway... can't wait to see the finished pattern for this lovely bag!
Esther.
Love them all!! I would love to test patterns for you!
ReplyDeleteI"ve been meaning to get your 241 tote. Now I'll have to get that one and this one! Love all the versions!

ReplyDeleteOh these are all so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHow do you get to be a pattern tester??
