You have to be careful about saying that word in our house, sends the beagle tearing around and looking out the windows. Just a quick little project for Easter, a faux chenille bunny. Check out the tutorial here by Sew Much Ado. ps. this is a George look-a-like Jeni!
I knew I had some black flannel laying around and since I'm on a mission to use up some of my toppling stash, a bunny it was! Seriously though, I'm so proud, I've been using up so many fabrics lately. I'm excited to show you a project that I've been planning on making for about two years now. It's making me so happy to take those fabrics off the shelf and put them to good use.
Anyway, a cute little bunny, who was going to make his way into an Easter basket, but we'll see if I can scrounge up some energy to make another little toy, and if not, he'll just be our cute (and only, how sad) Easter decoration for this year.
{had to throw in this shot from last fall, she looks so majestic here, hehe}
Hope you had a great weekend.

Love the bunny! It will absolutely become a little keepsake. And I LOVE the majestic beagle. Great shot.

ReplyDeleteThe last picture is the best! We have a beagle too and she'll be 12 on Thursday (o: Your's is so sweet too!

ReplyDeleteOkay, now I REALLY need to make one! He's so cute!!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! And definitely a George look-a-like! Brothers from another...mother?
ReplyDeleteI made a cute bunny also. Check out the blog by Gingercake. She has a very cute bunny pattern for sale in her etsy shop. The pattern is quick and easy, I made 2 of them in a matter of a couple of hours. Love your black bunny, too cute with the pink bow! Looks realistic with the fuzzy fabric!

ReplyDeleteSuch a cute George-alike, I thought he'd hopped on over there from the thumbnail in my dashboard!
ReplyDeleteOh so cute, Anna! What a sweet little bunny. We don't have ANY Easter decorations up yet...EEEK!
ReplyDeleteAww, that's so cute! I want to make one! But it'll have to be for 'next' Easter, not this year. Maybe if I start next week..... ;) I've been wanting to try the faux chenille.
ReplyDeleteI never thought of doing a black bunny to look like Jeni's George! What a great idea for my grandsons! (pink and yellow just would not have done well LOL) MY plan is to make SIX of these by Sunday... we'll see...
ReplyDeleteLOVE your bunny!
aww he is so cute Anna!!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! We are playing with felt critters this week. Kitties for now, but I'm sure this bunny will be in our future. Especially if my two little girls see it.
ReplyDeleteSmiles!
That is super cute and I love the fabric on him.
ReplyDeleteThese are darling!!! Great job using up your stash. :) And I love that last picture; I'm super obsessed with beagles.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Now I'm thinking a bunny needs to leap-frog (leap-bunny??!?) all other craftiness in time for the Newbie to find something age-appropriate on Sunday morning.
ReplyDeletesuper cute!!!
ReplyDeleteMy 3 year old would love that! Cute.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely and cute!
ReplyDeleteHe does look like George! It sounds like Jeni is going to make him a friend!:) I am definitely going to do this- do you think my grown daughter would like him?:) Great picture of your beagle too. My husband has raised beagles most of his life- we don't have any now but they make wonderful pets! There are a few that we really miss!
ReplyDeleteI never thought black bunny is a good idea...but yours make me change my mind...Toooooo cute!
