Noodlehead make it sew modern: giveaway [closed] uncategorized

Hmm, where to start?  If you’re looking for something genuine in blogland, you can be sure that genuine is what you’ll get with Vanessa.

Noodlehead make it sew modern: giveaway [closed] uncategorized

She’s one of the very few bloggers I’ve meet in real life, twice no less!  She truly amazes me.  Her creativity truly comes from within.  It’s really refreshing to be around her and hear her stories.  We had a blast (okay, maybe it was just me) putting on binding on her’s daughter’s quilt.  She was so funny, she’s not one to follow someone else’s rules — she makes her own.  Sorry if this sounds sucky uppy or whatnot, it’s really what I realized about her after we last met, and that’s really cool.  So this is her book, and I feel really honored to be able to give away a signed copy of it right here, today.

Noodlehead make it sew modern: giveaway [closed] uncategorized

Make it Sew Modern has a ton of great projects that you can make your own.  If I had my choice, I would have made this lovely pleated pillow, I know the magic of a good pillow.  Do you?

It looks like a really cool book, I have been planning on buying it but am waiting to see if I get it for my birthday. It is fun to hear your persepective on what she is like in person. We plan on camping next week but don’t really have any big vacation plans. I kind of like it that way :). Thank you for the giveaway! Andrea2207@ yahoo.com

  4. Karen 06.18.2012 at 12:26 pm #

I’d love to get my hands on this book. I love following Vanessa’s blog. She is one creative girl. Our summer is very low key this year ~ we have a few days trips planned and maybe a trip to the Seattle area to start scouting our possible future move. Thanks for the chance.

  14. Grandma G 06.18.2012 at 12:41 pm #

I have two fun things to look forward to in July! First, an internet friend and her hubby are coming to visit (we’ve met once before), and second, if all works out, I’ll get to meet another pretty famous internet friend! I’m excited!

  15. Melody 06.18.2012 at 12:42 pm #

I’ve followed Vanessa for some time and love her designs and ideas. What a great giveaway. If I don’t win I’ll have to buy it. Love the pleated pillow. I was just looking at my living room and realized all the things that made my living room look mismatched were gone so don’t need to paint – I just need some pillows and maybe a wall hanging to put it all together.

  16. Sarah Jayne 06.18.2012 at 12:43 pm #

  28. Caryn 06.18.2012 at 1:04 pm #

All the sneak peeks of this book have put this book on my must have list. It looks like it’s full of great projects! I have six kids, so we’ve made a list of special things we want to do… Children’s Museum, Architects in Air, Shakespeare Festival… And a list of things we want to make a habit of fitting in weekly… visits to playgrounds, outdoor concerts, free summer movies, swimming and splash parks, water balloon fights, etc. I’m trying really hard to take advantage of free offerings in our community this year!
