Super Tote + Melody Miller + Carolyn Friedlander

4.25.2013

I'm excited to show you this version of my upcoming pattern.  I'm calling it the Super Tote, well, because, ha, I think it's super. Plus the fact that it's super sized.  Cheesy I know!  Sorry, you'll just have to put up with me.

This was the second version of the tote.  It'll be mine, oh yes it will be mine.  I didn't add the interior pockets on this one, I was busy checking sizes and proportions, but I think this bag will see it's way to the pool and for schlepping around to and from work.  It seems like I always have a ton of things to carry to and from work.

I'm thinking the pattern will be ready for sale next week!  Just awaiting feedback from some testers.  I'm also hoping to get some kids clothes sewn this week too, crossing my fingers!!!

  7. I can hardly wait!! I'd love to be on your tester list. As a long-time quilter/sewist, I still get stumped on bags. So if you are ever looking for a bag-making novice, I'm the one...

  10. I adore this bag! It's so hard for me to buy purses when I know I can make cuter ones. I do have one question: Do you think this bag would make a good diaper bag? I'm not loving the options in the stores because they are either super bulky, weird patterns, or too expensive.

  42. Beautiful! I was sold on this already with the last version, but this is one I love even more! I've got a yard of that exact same fabric hoarded away for a project just like this!!! :-) And why be needlessly modest, if a bag is super, call it super!! :-) ;-)

  56. eek love it Anna! Such a great design xo

  57. I would definitely buy this pattern. It would be a purse for me, though, because I feel the need to haul my life around with me. I must, must, must have an exterior pocket and some way to close the top, so it's not always dumping over in the car. It looks a little over my skill level, but I'm willing to give it a try. Great fabric picks, by the way.
