Finally sewed something for myself, it's been a while! Not to sound like a broken record, but I believe I've had this pattern traced and pattern pieces cut for at least 4 months. At one point I got sick of all the clutter lying around and just put it all away. So I needed to sew something, anything the other night. I pulled out the Datura Blouse pattern by Deer & Doe.
And did you see the back. Party in the back! Love the button detail so much.
If I look slightly mad in this pic it's because my memory card kept saying it was full when it wasn't, ha.
I wasn't originally going to use this berry colored linen. So glad I did though, so soft and flowy. I'm pretty much done done sewing myself any type of top with quilting cotton, like ever. I will definitely be able to wear this to work, which is super awesome. Plus the cut outs (which I didn't really think I'd make use of) are a super cute detail and suits the fabric well.
Well, there you have it. And I'm in love.

Modifications: added about 2" to the overall length, I have a long torso and short tops are my pet peeve
