more drawstring bags!

12.20.2013

Never enough drawstring bags, especially when they're made from the cutest fabric ever.  I heart how quick they come together.  If you've got one (or several) under your belt, the next million you decide to make are a snap.  And yes, there will be a million.  This is Jeni's Lined Drawstring Bag pattern, both in Everything Bag size.

I made these two in addition to the Tiny version I made at camp.  I finished the one and quickly made the other when I got home.  I had gotten the panda fabric at Sewing Summit 2012 and the hippo fabric (from Cotton Blue on etsy) way before that - and, wait for it, I checked, it was in 2009!!!  It was time.

I think I'll try to get a few more made in time for Christmas!

And finally, I drew the winner of the Journey e-book giveaway.  Congrats to jules mcnubbin, I sent you an email!

Thanks again to all who entered.  If you didn't win a copy, you can purchase the book here. Or buy the individual patterns on Ravelry!
