Love patchwork? And a little fun competition? I know I do. Seriously, Umbrella Prints is one of my favorite handprinted fabric designers. I love their hand drawn feel and beautiful color combinations.
Just like in the past, Umbrella Prints is hosting a fun little competition: the The 2014 Trimmings Contest. I’m super honored to be a judge this year! I’ll be helping pick the Judge’s Choice Winner alongside some really inspirational ladies. Each year they host a competition focused on projects made using scraps from their Trimmings packs. These are mostly smaller bits and pieces that are offcuts from their production runs.

What a cool challenge. I ordered a packet of the trimmings last night. I do have one idea for the contest. Hoping to have some time to make it happen and hoping the fabric gets here in time.
I love the prints you used for the bag in the first picture. I don’t have that pattern yet. I will be getting that one very soon.
