[This giveaway is now closed, thank you to all who entered!]
Happy Friday everyone! I couldn’t be more excited about this fabric today! It’s the newest collection by Leah Duncan for Art Gallery Fabrics called Gramercy. Leah is one of my many favorite designers, ever since her first collection Maya, I’ve been diligently following along. I secretly hoard the prints and may just happen to have extra cuts I stash away just so I can use some right away and still have some more for just that perfect project. Β You do that too, right?!
I used my Envelope Clutch pattern in the large size (there are two sizes, yay!). I’ve been working on re-vamping theΒ Envelope Clutch pattern to be in tip-top shape and will be re-releasing the pattern soon (and with a fun little discountΒ to kick things off). So please hang in there, it should be all set in about a week and I’ll let you know when it’s ready.
I forgot how much I love this clutch and when it’s finished it just feels so awesome and professional. One of my very favorite things is handmade piping, and I love the finished look! I’ve got my tutorial here that makes it a little easier! Handmade piping isΒ one of those things that might be a pain when you’re making it, but in the end it’s so worth the extra time and effort!
Did I mention this size fits and ipad mini (and probably a lot of other smaller tablets!)? When I made the pattern the minis weren’t out yet so I think it’s a happy coincidence. And on that note, I have instructions for making this fit a regular ipad, too, just in case you’re wondering.
Okay, enough about me! How about some fabric?! I’m excited that Leah offered a half yard bundle (that’s 8 half yard cuts!!!) as a giveaway to one lucky reader!
To Enter:
- one winner will be chosen
- Just leave a comment! Leah and I are curious, what’s your favorite print in the collection? Or what would you make with Gramercy?
- Open to US entries only please!
- Giveaway ends Sunday, September 14thΒ at 10pm (central time).
Oh, and I’m not sure about you, but I’m always drooling over the awesomeness in Leah’s shop! I’ll take that gorgeous cuffΒ (you know I love me some brass jewelry) and a pillow cover please! haha
ps, if you’re looking for Art Gallery Fabrics near you, they’ve got a great little store locator on theΒ Art Gallery FabricsΒ website here. How handy!
A coupleΒ of my fave online shops that have it as well:
Pink Castle Fabrics
Hawthorne Threads

There are some great low-volume options here. I’d pick Winter Wheat — it would be fun to use that as a background fabric!
i love the Central Park fog, love to try my hand at this clutch.
Thanks for the chance.

Oh my goodneess, I love that set! I would pick the Umbrellas print, either one of them!
I like the subway route and Central Park breeze, I’ve been thinking of making a “housecoat” and these two patterns would be PERFECT!
Black and white on the far right side…. π AWESOME.
I really like City Lights Night. What a great collection!
I quite light the City Lights print in either colorway.
Love the Brooklyn Bridge Glare. New dresses for my girls!!
I really love the one with the dots on the lines. What would I make it? I don’t know. Probably a bag of some sort. I seem to resort to those a lot. LOL I’ve been making a lot of the Sew Together bags lately, and I’d likely make one of those.
Without a doubt, Central Park fog
I love the “Central Park Breeze” although I also love all the different solid shades. Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
Interestingly, I think that I should like the blue floral the best, but actually I like that indescribeable one, with a grey background and the fluffy little half circle puffs made out of lines in orange, light blue and black or dark blue. Facinatingly beautiful!
Such a great collection! I I have to choose I think it would be Brooklyn Bridge Glare, Manhattan’s Dusk and Rush Hour Rose.
Eastside umbrellas is my favorite.
They are all so so pretty. I think City Lights would be my fave if I was forced to choose. I’m super excited about that new clutch pattern too! It’s one of the few I don’t have yet.
Ok, what would I make? EVERYTHING! I LOVE IT. I am really drawn to the colorful dots but those half circles are fantastic. You are so inspiring Leah, your fabrics just make me happy !
I love the print with the triangles, it looks quite botanical. But all of them are beautiful!
Love the whole lot, my favorite today is Brownstones in Washed
Love the subway prints & Manhatten Dawn & Dusk. I promised my mom I would make her a zipper envelope big enough for letter size envelopes.
Central Park Breeze. Beautiful.
I love it all, but Manhattan’s Dusk in Dusk is just amazing!
If i had half your talent Iβd make a clutch like yours. You inspire me. Commute by taxi and NY circuit ashen would be my first picks and then Iβd try a knit.
I love the Brooklyn Bridge Glare. The whole line is exciting! I would definitely make a quilt for my step daughter who is leaving today for her first year of college in Manhattan!
central park breeze! i love that soft, almost not there, blue. and of course, i’d cut it up for a quilt.
I would make some loosely fitted pants with knit drawstring waist and knit cuffs, copied off a favorite pair I have been wearing a lot of lately.
It would be impossible to choose a favorite from this line. I love the simplicity and clean look of the fabric.
If I was lucky enough to win, I would start a patchwork quilt immediately!
It’s so hard to choose! Eastside Umbrellas stands out to me, and I think it would make a great Clutch (can’t wait until the re-release so I can try my hand at it!)
Oh that clutch is just amazing and perfect!! Also, I totally love Leah Duncan too…I’ve been really wanting to get some of her gramercy park for a while now, I really love the floral central park breeze a ton…but it’s all so beautiful! I have no idea what I’d make with it yet, now i feel like I need a new clutch π
What a great clutch! And those fabricsβ¦.oh my! Love, love love them all, and so hard to choose, but I’m partial to Commute by Taxi.
I think I would have to make one of your clutches for my mini ipad!
Manhattan’s Dusk is great! I would love to make a clutch π
Eastside Parasols would make a lovely clutch, or a stylish grocery tote.
I’m a flower girl all the way and am in love with Central Park Fog! City Lights Night would be awesome to use in a bag/tote. I have some cool city building upholstery fabric that I found that I have been waiting to use. The two would pair fantastically for a tote! So glad I stumbled across it here. Art Gallery Fabrics is new to me! Thank you π
Subway routes is my favorite with commute by taxi as a close second. . .thanks for the giveaway π
I like Manhattan’s Dawn, but wow, I didn’t realize just how amazing these fabrics are! They are all beautiful prints!
I’m a sucker for orange, so Subway Routes Glow is my favorite, no contest. Wish I hadn’t checked Leah’s site, because now I’m pining for that succulents poster with the black background. So purty!
I really like the print with the black lines and dots. Very cool. Such a good looking collection.
Love Manhattan Dawn! The whole collection is really beautiful, it’s hard to single out just one fabric though!
Manhattan’s Dusk is so so gorgeous!
Central Park Breeze is Beautiful!!! but hard to pick only one…LOOOVE them all! π Think I would make a cool Tote for me…or a Special Throw for a Christmas gift! π (shhh…can’t tell for Who…giggle)
Central Park Breeze and Fog are my favorites
I adore Brownstones Washed and can already envision my newest project ! Love then all though, so hard to pick just one favorite …
I like the brownstone print.
How beautiful! Great give away! I love the subway routes fabric because my nephews are totally take with traveling by T. I would have to think long and hard what to make with this beautiful fabric. Something very special!
I would definitely be making some new zippies and a clutch for me. They are so pretty. And I am a total sucker for blues and yellows.
I love all of Leah Duncan’s work! It is hard to choose, but I do really like Taxi and Central Park.
Loving Commute by Taxi! I think I’d be making some pillow shams or some clutches. Cute stuff!
I really love the Subway Routes fabric.
In love with NY Circuit.. in teal! All of them are lovely.
Love them all…. so unique. Thanks for the giveaway
Subway Routes is my favourite. It’s city stylish but also kind of feminine. Would make a great work blouse. Also love Central Park Breeze
I love them all! But if I had to pick, the one that looks like a subway map is especially mod!
